I’m Leslie Myrick — a Rochester native who’s been chasing creativity and building businesses since I was 14, when I started working for my parents. Entrepreneurship runs in my blood, but design is what feeds my soul.

Over the last 10 years, I’ve managed everything from residential apartments, houses and buildings to commercial spaces while growing two businesses of my own: Properties By Design, focused on interiors and commissioned artwork and The House of Myrick , where I get to wear all the hats--house hunter, project manager, interior designer, and property manager.

For me, interior design is pure joy. I love walking into an empty space and seeing the possibilities: arranging the flow, choosing colors that pop, and creating that feeling of home the moment you walk in. Every project is a new chance to be resourceful, authentic, and creative and yes, I pride myself on always staying on budget and on deadline.

At the end of the day, I’m not just managing properties or designing rooms, I’m helping people feel connected to their spaces. That’s what keeps me motivated, inspired, and excited to take on whatever comes next.
